All the managers talk about is conversion not sales. We don’t have what the customers come in to buy. No ironing boards or covers, coffee makers, water filters etc. Get the goods in the stores and they will buy!

Employees are converted to customers when they are laid off.
the discount has nothing to do with it, stores want employees to make purchases so they can hit conversion, because they don't know how to get real customers

Associates have always had a 20% discount, so that comment makes no sense.

Customers don’t know what they want. It’s your job to sell them items that in stock in the store. For example, they don’t know that they actually need three cake domes. This is why conversion is so important!
