Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Are we still on schedule for the Unified Plan 2020?

It is supposed to improve network efficiency. Don’t those guys at the STB know we have a plan in place? If they’d be patient and wait till 2020 this is all going to work out. Just need to lay a few more people off and store some more power and we’ll be moving freight like never before.

Remember PSR isn't about doing more with less or maximizing profits. That's just a by-product. If profits fell then they would still do it...right??

the sackler family made a lot of money too and now they are disgraced just like UP. The gravy train is over and the network is jacked up. STB investigation and customers are losing their minds. UP ceos hiding from testifying. There will be a mini-series produced about UP’s downfall one day on one of the streaming services and it will be a comedy/drama.

We need a few folks in signal maintenance. Heard if no one bids, gonna hire off the street in my location. Some Depts truly cannot sustain anymore cuts.
