Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

No more closing in the foreseeable future?

I'm going to assume that Amazon has cleaned house with the latest round of closings and that the rest of us are safe for at least a year or two?

Amazon is so tight lipped about everything that no one should be surprised by these closings. Even the STLs were only given a day or 2 notice, from what I understand.
Let this be a warning to always have a “plan B”, because you mean nothing to WF.

Does anyone on this forum actually think that WF cares about the well being of its TM. As is known they gave a weeks notice to its TM. The ironic part of this is TM appreciation is coming up in June. LOL!!

They could close any under performing store at any time. These probably just happened to be the worst stores. They could turn em into Amazon fresh stores where they have a minimal amount of people working or do like they’ve done with the others and just pay the rent until the lease is up.

More coming soon. Amazon had a rough quarter. They won't hold onto locations not making any money. Keep your eyes on the stock price.

Never ever assume anything. By the way, did you see Amazon's latest earnings report?

LOL assuming that is d-mb. look around at most WF stores, they are held together by tape and strings. if you were to make an assumption then it should be that this is NOT sustainable and WILL change soon.

btw those stores got like a 1 week notice that they were shutting down. that should tell you something

What happened was unusual so no guarantee it won't continue.
