Why do so many people here write that PepsiCo is a big red mark on resume?

Pepsi is quite a green mark on resume although work culture might be in red territory. If you keep high hopes from this company one day you'll wake up and realize that you are under valued, under leveled, and therefore under paid. I worked there for 9 years wherein I planned 5 years. 2 years ago, I jumped the boat and received 50% hike, and another 20% on top of it 6 months ago. Factoring in bonuses, my comp doubled for technically doing the same job with more respect and value, at expense of daring to jump boats at the right time for the right opportunities. This fed up with this company, just try your luck outside and you'll raise that the world is a better place outside of the Pepsi empire, and life is glorious.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how many open positions there are on the careers site, the scuttlebutt on this site and the wokeness public relations campaign they tout to put all 3 together and end up with a big red mark. Think the fear is that you will bring baggage with you.
The only way to win is by not playing - in other words getting out. This rancid company has now affected my health and this is where I draw the line. This place is run by clowns - although there is nothing even remotely funny about the way they treat their employees. With an unemployment rate currently at 3.5 % and a shortage of qualified workers in most locales, you would think these bozos would wake up and smell the coffee. But I honestly think they want us to leave voluntarily for another job to save on severance and let the - pardon the intended pun - “chips” fall where they will. So looking forward to leaving this swamp of misery. “One job application a day should keep the Pepsi misery away!”
"If employees are open and honest about how they feel about the company during these meetings,"
Then they will be shown the door the first opportunity HR can arrange an allegation.
Call Speak Up and watch your career magically go down the drain.
HR people are slimeballs NOT TO BE TRUSTED about ANYTHING !
Why would anyone utter anything other than name, rank and serial number in a roundtable with HR?
HR exists to protect the COMPANY’S interest - not yours.
I don't think HR has any reason to troll this site with as many employee round tables that have been happening lately. If employees are open and honest about how they feel about the company during these meetings, HR is listening....or should be.
This site is for people to come and complain about everything and everyone who they feel stand in their career path!! Ultimately it is usually work ethic or attitude at work!! Can't wait for everyone to come on and tell me they weren't hand picked, the right gender or race, their boss hates them etc etc when truly it is usually self inflicted and then they just become a cancer on the job!!
This site sucks anyway. Moderators demonstrate liberal bias and remove too many comments that are are spot-on analyses of corporate behavior.
Why? Cause we know HR trolls this site.
HR:. please STOP trolling on this site for answers!
