Any kind of a loss is usually met with cuts because the leadership knows that's the easiest way to get the numbers up once again. It's lazy and unimaginative, but it's what's going to happen. Sadly, those who do the most work will be shown the door while the lazy kissasses will once again remain. I'm not looking forward to what's to come.

Ascension did the lay-offs/cuts and it is still hemorrhaging money. They consistently report massive losses.
By the way, for anyone on the outside, there is absolutely nothing religious, faith based, or Christian about Ascension's Senior Management or Board of Directors. This is nothing new, Ascension has been like this for many years. Those of us on the inside already know this.
The Nuns who created the Ascension Healthcare System would be so ashamed of what it has evolved into.
