I had to laugh at the phrase "digital transformation"! Didn't Xerox start the process back in the late 1990's? I seem to recall multiple branding efforts from that era to "transfom" both the product array and the company culture.
The question is ... show a list of list of hardware manufacturers that have successfully 'digitally transformed' themselves from hardware to software.
I don't even think you can name one.
