Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

As if you didn’t know where you were applying

Complaining will not fix things. People who complain that they left after only two months because they could no longer tolerate this place, I wonder if they did any research at all before applying for a job here?

I've worked at BBB for 8 years. It wasn't always bad. I've been complaining a lot about the company over the last couple of months. They have cut hours before (it's retail, that's what happens) but I've never seen it this bad. I started applying to other jobs. I'd like to stay but the part timers at my work are either working 1 or 2 four hour shifts or not being scheduled for a week.

Anyone else notice there are no replies when the whiners are asked why they do not get a new job?

IDK, you tell us. You came here to complain about complaining. Why are you still here?

So why are the complainers still working at BBBY? There are tons of jobs out there..full time, part time, remote..what is stopping you?

Okay, so now we can't complain. Just how are new hires supposed to know what a miserable job they are signing up for? When they find out---often on the first day, they flee!
