Not all non-officers are making a measly salary/bonus and that's why they continue to stay. To do the same work as their co-workers, who were low balled coming in. There's a reason why the salary bands are so wide. You're just expected to think everyone is underpaid.

The examples set everyday where the company can provide so little in employee recognition financially and employees are still there, shows the company's plan is on target. Even when people have walked away the remainder will just suck it up and do more with less. The whipping will continue while morale tanks. The only winners are those that leave, the stockholders and all those that rec'd stock options. It's not like you're seeing those options reduced by 70% like recent yearly bonuses and raises.

Really - I have been doing a lot of laughing about all of this but time to read the hand writing on the wall. Do I stay and laugh or fool myself into thinking I have a future here and then cry as I train contractors to do my job.

ROFL.

I thought you were exaggerating with the mention of Ezra, but sure enough, the "welcome back the contractors" email does mention it.

Whatever you decide, be sure to welcome contractors to Future Work. You know…remember to be friendly and if a contractor needs help point them to the Ezra the bot for help.

Stay or wait around to see if/when your position is outsourced...

You have to stay. Leadership needs to show Wall Street that they can continue to sh-t on us to keep expenses low, productivity high, and dividends rising.
