Billions (yes that is billions) of dollars has been wasted in paper transactions to make the stock look better.
Money that could have been used to benefit policyholders and employees being spent for NOTHING!!!
As this recession hits, Allstate stock will drop with the rest and it will be like that money never existed….money that was only spent to drive stock up short term so Wilson, Shapiro, et al can get even richer as they cash in before the crash….
As the b@@yards cry about expense ratio, nickle/ dime their employees…and attempt to deny covered claims and money legally owed to claimants….
….it is shameful how they are allowed to get away with this……

Allstate made tons of money in 2021. Buying back their shares is a common business practice to offset taxes as it becomes an expense.
