Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Who’s BURNT OUT before summer driving?

The current work volume is nothing compared to what’s coming this summer. Sadly executive react and don’t plan ahead. Reacting is when it’s too late. Take a few months for new hires to make even the smaller impact. If there is a need for 20 more in a department, hire 40!! By the time they hit the floor usually a handful of seasoned handlers quit and almost always at least 25+% new hires don’t make it more than 6 months.

@1zac - That guy is the self-pitying extreme right wing goofball who feels compelled to inject his politics into every thread, regardless of how little everyone else wants to see it.

Burn out and turnover is a constant as long as group think and nepotism prevails.

"Why would anyone in their right mind work for a Disney supportive oligarch environment."

Can anyone decipher what this poster was trying to say? Is he trying to say that supporting equal access to opportunity is evil?

I agree it was ultimately tippy that signed off on it but it was Yi who was front row developing a model that has failed…and failed bigtime……17 billion net profit in 2021 remember…..the injury unit I work in is horrendous…..turnover is out of control….most of the time when our defense attornies call us we do not know anything about the file in question…..lawsuits are out of control….we have been ordering IME’s….independent medical exams….on just about all files that are in suit……just kicking that can down the road to buy time……..trust me its out of control with no end in sight…..

@yup+1g9clKlg- thank Yi's bosses who signed off on everything. He did nothing without their approval. Stop being a karen/Ken and keep blaming Yi when the buck stops with tippy.

Why would anyone in their right mind work for a Disney supportive oligarch environment. Support those who have your shared values. Don't support those who IMO are all about themselves and on a power trip. It never used to be what it is now.

lucky for most departments, a huge chunk of people have left after the bonus, leaving skeleton crews for the summer. The started hiring to bring the number of handlers up and one year later they are worse off than when they tried to hire people.

Turnover and the zero effort retention will ki-l this company, if it hasnt already.

You need to complain to someone who cares. Stop whining and get back to work.
