Beyond orders

Is it a common practice to have a Beyond order to ship to store? Why can’t they just ship to customer, the customer is still paying a shipping fee.

We tell customers we can’t do it. Trying to catch those coming in the back door is a nightmare, especially in a higher volume store.

You should be offering to have the item shipped to the store and then employees can deliver in at the customers convenience. You should be giving out your personal cell phone number so the customer can call you whenever it’s best for them. This is the service that will put us in the lead. It’s the least you can do for the company.

We do it alot and it sucks, have done it forever. FedEx still delivers packages to the wrong place or the customer just never picks up their cr-p.

It's usually only done when a customer insists. We used to do it often, now not too much.

we used to a lot more, i haven't noticed it in a while at my store, but it's a nice alternative for someone who doesn't want their package sitting outside their house while they're at work or something like that

No. I've never placed an order to ship to store.
