Problems always stem from their arrogance and of course their greed. Instead of having a vision of what is possible and realistic to do to prevent further decline, the leading people here are setting unrealistic goals. They are completely out of touch with reality.

That's an overreaction. Most people in the office work hard and take pride in their jobs. Company leaders have overhired, it appears (the desire to build empires is a common weakness among HV execs). 1500+ corporate employees is 3x the number of just a few years ago. Trimming the workforce may be necessary, but it was completely bungled. This fiasco will be studied in PR classes as a "what not to do" case study.
Here’s a goal. Cut half of all personnel out of the corporate office. They don’t do anything anyways so I would start there. Randy was right the heart and soul of HyVee is the store employees. Just offer them jobs at the store level and if they don’t like it we don’t want them working for hyvee. Time to make some big changes at corporate level and if you don’t like it then leave.
