Constantly changing shifts

I'm tired of changing shifts. I was happy with pay, but given the constantly changing shifts, it’s not worth staying here anymore. The organization is terrible, they are just producing confusion. Has anyone refused to change a shift and what were the consequences?

Shift changes is what you agreed to when you accepted the job.
Shift changes enables you to earn more money because of the shift rate.
