If I had to sum up in one word what bothers me the most here and why I'm leaving, then it's disorganization. Why does everything have to be a mess?
Instead of leadership fixing that mess, no, the opposite is happening, it’s getting worse. I believe that there aren't many so disorganized companies in this industry?

A data company means metrics which is just a nice way of saying we’re monitoring every damned keystroke. What a joke this place is. They’re going backwards.
I agree 100%. With all these changes, things are never simplified or streamlined. At best, maybe you get a lateral move (same amount of work, just slightly different), but most of the time the changes add steps to processes, add layers of approval, add another "agile" team, etc. I think this is because there is no real leadership right now, we seem to be chasing corporate trends and whatever buzz word is popular at the moment (synergy, transformative, agile, etc.) rather than some clear goal of what the he-l the company is anymore. At various times I've heard we're a data company, yet nobody has ever bothered to explain what that actually means. I guess the goal is making money, so we're chasing whatever will make the most money.
