Management has managed to turn employees who love their job into employees who work on autopilot. Many who have really done their job with a lot of passion have either left or been laid off.
Yesterday I had a conversation with my boss who wanted to know why I'm not as productive as I used to be.
Do they really have to ask why? Can't they figure it out on their own?
I have nothing against english as a second language either. The issue is that I can read the manual to myself in English, I don't need HCL to read it to me again in broken english when I call second level support for some further help.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with having English as a second language. But Xerox (any US company actually) using agents that don't speak clear English is a big problem.
Horrible character being displayed here. Maligning boomers and people for whom English is their second language. Americans have become very very ugly people, and I don't mean on the outside. Vote me down and confirm my point.

Grandpa, the reality is other area employers of stupid Java programmers pay them garbage. This is your future, so drink up.
Not sure what generation you come from, but nobody cares about your issues. This is a business. Just move on or do your work while you are collecting a paycheck. The majority of people do not love their job period. I'm sure most people would rather just sit on the beach and drink all day, but it's not the reality.

Somebody has a stick up their a-s against java. That is hardly a factor with any Xerox problem.
