Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Doing more for less is the Schenectady Motto

D rates living the life T’s are struggling with this American dream. When is the layoff? I have a job lined up just waiting for the layoff and some sort of buy out.

Keep waiting. By the time GE offers you a layoff package, your new "job" will be gone. Probably taken by a more qualified person (a hard-working T rate). D rates are living in an illusionary dream world thinking that they are "qualified." I've seen Schenectady D rate work and it is cr_p. Companies don't keep these jobs open forever just waiting for you to take it. Somehow, I think this new "job" is only in your head, and not really there. If it is so good, you'd leave GE now.
