Any direction about when we can go to mask optional, as Target, Walmart and other major retailers have?

what is the policy when customers come in without a mask on
Touchpoint cleaning going away through attrition right now and will go away entirely at some point.
So now that Macy's is going to follow CDC guidelines, so what happens to touch point associates?
Thrilled about the masks going away. And I'm over 60. Time to get back to regular life
Well, the memo just came out today. You don’t have to wear masks if you don’t want to anymore regardless of vaccination status starting tomorrow March 4.
That's actually funny....I'm closer to 70 than I am to 60 years old. Big ticket, where communication is important. We do more than just ring up sales, we spend time helping our customers select furniture and being able to communicate clearly is important. New CDC guidlines have dumped the masks, and the vast majority of our customers, old and young, are maskless. I'm vaccinated, boosted and titered. I submitted proof of my vaccination status to the company. I came back in the first wave. I did everything that was asked of me and now I expect us to continue to follow CDC guidlines. When your customers are not wearing masks anymore, and we are, it becomes a distraction to the process and topic on conversation.
Just suck it up and wear the mask. Don’t be a whimp! Oh or do you not care about the elderly who shop in our stores. That’s what wrong with this generation, they are selfish and don’t care for their elders
I asked because crenet CDC guidance is that masks are not necessary in public anymore. We usually follow CDC guidance.
It’s well past time to stop the mask mandate. I see employees in a lot of retail locations still having to wear them including Macys but it needs to end. Exactly they didn’t help in December and January during the height of Omicron. Political at this point as you notice how many states are now easing up on mandates.
I hope so. I am sick of wearing masks. It makes no sense because it is optional for customers in our store and in the mall as well. But we have to wear them? They don’t even protect you, we had like half the store out with covid during December and January.
