Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Hours cut again

They can’t expect you to run an A volume store on 500 hours and be a fulfillment store and make your conversion . 1 cashier leaves no one on the floor to sell. Oh and people walking out daily with unpaid merchandise because no one can stop them.
I feel like the ship has finally hit its last iceberg. MT had great ideas too bad they aren’t working.

  1. ..I wish. We have less than that and things are tough. More than 50% of our budget is spent on management and full timers. Most days we just manage each other. This is not good for business or morale.

500 hours is more than enough. Quit whining.

and then down the road, because stores will end up doing what they can and have to to get through a rough couple of weeks, corporate can keep squeezing and going 'well you got this done with this few hours, so you can handle it'

yeah love how they forecasted an increase of freight for 01 22 03 and 04 but cut budget hours,,, conversion conversion conversion freight pouring in soon so said the dm but freight no one wants and that makes sense so we can allocate all salesfloor staff to receiving because there is no customers to buy anything, We just need one cashier to process all of the TBS returns we get.. Bankrupt by 2023
