Bonus and Rating

What is the difference between 2R and 2B from bonus and rating? Are they the same rating?

They should make people stand up in front of a committee once a year to defend their important work similar to candidates for pHD degrees. Then the committee can first of all say pass or fail and then those who pass give them a rating. Those who fail, oh well you can guess what happens to them.

B's and R's?... Wait till you find out your department force ranks you when they can only allocate a certain number of rankings per pay grade. Then find out that there is no ranking consistency between business units. Then find out that bonuses and promotions are not fair sometimes.... There is always an internal pecking order and a reason why you need to work harder to move forward.
I certainly miss the profession but not this....

No. You would just be fired because people don’t like you. No documentation is required. Just, we don’t like you.

So, if you are an a-ho-e to everyone, burn bridges, upset vendors, are not a team player, etc., but you exceed on accomplishing all goals and objectives, your behavior shouldn’t directly and clearly impact your performance rating?

It is too bad they have apparently gone to rate behaviors formally. It used to be factored into ratings in a soft way with actually skill sets and ACCOMPLISHMENTS being what rewards were based on.

2b and 2r are equivalent, one recognizes your better skillset leaning towards behaviors and company values while the other honors your better skillset leaning towards technical ability. Work a bit harder on the flip side to get a 1.

I wold think B is higher than R since means you have higher skills and behaviors.

I would think R is higher than B since R is for results aka skills. I wonder what these Bar charts mean in terms of your raise/promotion %

No, they are not the same rating. One has an R and one has a B. R and B are different. They are not the same.
