Connecticut going union

A few Connecticut stores are talking about unions. The sooner the better.

Unions don't do anything for you unless you work for the government.

What union are you talking to? All of us trying to organize should try to stay with the same union.

Three words—ain’t gonna happen. No stores are set to be unionized. For you guys and girls that want to work in a union, you have all kinds of other options out there that operate with a union—unionized factories(just about all of them in the Northern US are unionized), UPS, USPS, federal gov’t offices, and many local/state government offices and facilities outside of the SE US. There are also trade unions like the IBEW for those of you who are or want to be electricians. Finding union work ANYWHERE in retail is going to be tough. Not bashing unions, it’s just the reality.

This is the only way we can defend ourselves from this out of control company. We have targets on our backs already, our only hope is to unionize and either get our demands met or close the stores down.
