Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Is this the worst case scenario?

This is someone's vision:

Just wait til you see the changes coming down the pipeline. Anyone who's full time will be getting driven out unless you're a DS. The staffing model will be a 95:5 ratio, 95% part time; 5% full time, and benefits will be getting reduced. Cashiers will be reduced as more and more stores go SCO only. Pro will be running the lumber registers, and a waterer will run the GC register. As XDT rolls out to more stores, receiving will lose half their space to make room for the partnership with "Petco". The plans are written out and approved already.

I copied this part of someone's post @1opn+1fp2XBtM, because I'm wondering if the rest of you think this is the future or if you disagree?

And the ASM’s will keep walking around the “racetrack” and directing customers to the one associate in three departments, because they don’t a thing about how to sell in any of the systems , nor do they have any product knowledge.

It is most definitely the future. Cutting away full time means no more health care benefits to pay out, no guarantee of at least 32 hrs a week, less bonus to have to pay out...need I go on? No bueno

Better get the union up and running soon. Most of the associates will sign up, everyone is pi---d off at this company.
