Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

I was knocked down from 30 to 14 hours

People who've been here for a few months were getting more hours than I was after three years. I thought it might be a fluke so I stayed but after the same thing happened again I realized it wasn't. So I decided that yesterday was my last day. I'm not going in today and I have no intention of letting anybody know in advance. After busting my bu-t for years for no reward, I'm done.

Speaking to some of my former co-workers. Why did they send everyone home early last Friday? I left the he-l ho-e of Walmart 2 and a half years ago. Best decision ever!

First wall fa-t gives everyone an unexpected raise; then they cut everyone's hours that received the raise. Doesn't make any sense

Walmart likes to do that. They will cut your hours and give the newbies more. Just a way to push you out the door. Just like that BS team scheduling they started. Walmart is BS. Best decision I made was to leave. Unfortunately wasted 10 years there glad you saw the light sooner.

Congratulations you probably changed your availability or took too many paid leaves.

Looks to me Walmart found a pretty good way to get you out.
