Might be your last bonus. Many other co don’t give one. Enjoy your salary as SF is one of the last time card co. The work and demand is all the same, except you won’t be compensated for the extra time. You hear many story’s of people who left and allege it’s better- no one wants to admit they made a mistake.. I’ve been with SF (11yr) and now on my third attempt at finding a better option: would love to return.

Nonsense. I left three years ago. I’m in a much better situation. It’s you, not them.
Because companies attest H1-B visa workers to be better paid, and better qualified than American.
If somehow they are not, it is usually easier to fix "us".
Since we are fewer and usually older.
I found it to be worse in banking, with a sample of 1
@jjp-you are gone after bonus right?
I left State Farm 3 years ago for Allstate. Same metric nonsense and micro managing.Good news was they allowed WFH. Bad news is my job is going to India. I will be applying back to SF in May.
You act like people can’t read about the pay and benefits at other companies.
SF is not competitive.
Did you hire them? If not, How could you be blamed for someone else lying about having a degree? Unless possibly if that was your due diligence to research but if you are not in HR, then I could not imagine that being the case.
Two of my last companies in banking and life ins. forced me to train H1 workers on statistics and analytics.
I complied. Then their visa renewal were rejected for lying about their degrees. I was blamed and targeted.
I was laid off 2 years later
Were the other places so bad that you would honestly 'love' to come back to SF? Being complacent is one way they have control over us. Obviously cannot speak for everyone, but even if timecard at SF is a plus, I bet many would still be willing to give that up for even slightly better working conditions and even a modicum of respect. Was your time @ the Farm so much better than the other places that you would honestly 'love' to come back? I have found personally that as time passes, we tend to remember the good while the bad memories fade. Maybe same has happened to you?
