I know that no one knows for sure, but I wonder if there are currently more Belk store leases that are renewed or those that are not. What do you think? As far as I know, the store I work in has no renewed lease, but there is still no mention of store closure, moreover, we are doing pretty well (if I'm not mistaken).

If you want to work with other quality retail company please apply and leave Belk. If you want to be a Clown and stay with this pathetic Stupid Belk Circus Spectacular company by all mean stay and suffer the clown and circus show daily! Enough said.
Belk can still sell some or more poor Belk stores and generate positive cash flow for greedy corporate bonus for big salary top managers and move on. It is nothing but real estate and location buying profits or may be declare net loss for this year and could not care less about Belk workers are out of that store location or out of the job!
There is no real reason for us to trust Belk company and top leaders. This is an unethical money hungry and heartless company the top leader will smile and lie to you and feel good about it like he breathes!
Let me ask you this basic logical question if you are not paying rent for your apartment or mortgage house payment do you think the landlord or banker let you stay for free? If your Belk store has no renewed lease then may be something shady is coming up soon? There’s no reason for Belk stupid executive leaders to mention store closures because they don’t want to create panic so Belk workers are leaving the sinking ship! Did Belk company and Sycamore let us know that they filed for Chapter 11 last year in February 2021 and feel sorry about their bad decision?
