Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Another one

This is how it is behind the scenes. The rating system sucks since they are not transparent on the ratings we receive. They use a faulty criteria to give employees numbers with little explanation instead relying on a generic context. Then when you question it you are looked at in a negative way.

@fnk "Nothing to hide-if you don’t fit in hit the bricks. That plain enough for you? And not likable-another reason to hit the bricks. Who in the he-l wants misfits in their employment?"

You call this leadership? Remember that misfit in high school? The one everyone picked on? Well, he's now a multimillionaire and very successful. Retired early. Nah, I'll pass on that high school attitude and stay with the misfits since they bring value to the table in contrast to that "fit in" high school who's a dope head. There's SF inclusion for you folks. Read this young employees. Remember it. This is your leadership.

@veb-unless you are employed in Wyoming you are employed in an “at will” state. Which means an employer can terminate you for any reason or no reason at all, unless illegal. And what constitutes illegal is very narrow and precise.

Every manager I’ve had literally and opening says if they don’t like you or if you don’t “fit in”, whatever that means, you’re gone.
They don’t even hide it.
Quality of work and integrity have nothing to do with anything.

Remember it is not only a race issue at State Farm that discriminates. It is whether they "like you." If they don't like you or you don't "fit in" with their false narrative, they will do everything in their power to ride you out the door. You can work around the clock and do everything to the best of your ability but your efforts are futile. They will even go so far as to tell you "It's who you schmooze with" and make you feel incompetent.

They get you to a point and they drop you like a ton of weight. Remember what they preach is exactly the opposite of what they do. They are professional politicians who are not inclusive or open minded to make a good person a great person which is leadership failure.

The kids today don't see it because they have everyone in the pay grade they want them in. It's the typical promise you the moon and RIP the carpet out from under you with the exception of the elite silver spoon fed accepted types.

Keep any and all records in a safe space. Remember you are not allowed to have an opinion or any self identity. They own you and will make you what they want to. This is why SF is failing so bad in leadership.
