Been with the company over 15 years. Being told DM/AM realignment. I saw it coming and am somewhat relieved.

Bed bath linens n things lol
Who was affected in the Chicago area?
OMG. This company treats their shoplifters better than their associates.
Anyone have a number as to how many were let go? Did it involve DM’s or was there SM or ASM’s as well?
It’s too bad. Sucks to see people out of a job again.
Just wondering if eventually those HR people who have delivered the “so long” message to hundreds of talented people will be left to fire themselves in the end.
This is exciting news. All that money will surely mean more hours for the stores payroll.
District managers and area managers are being realigned. Happened here in New York too
Op said DM and AM…do you mean ASMs? Forgive if that’s a d-mb question.
oh good, less visits and more emails. feels like they're eliminating all the people above store level that actually went to stores or had worked in a store before, and creating new positions for people who've probably never done a hard day of work in their life.
hey, maybe that celebrity chef lady can help next time our system crashes or we have an issue with a shipment
From what I have seen it really stinks to say it but you will be lucky if they let you go. The realignment DM's that are left take on all those additional stores where the DM's are being let go from are. They are literally showing everyone how to give more work to one person without compensation. Some will have stores not even located in the same state where they live. Taking on all that additional work, no compensation, throw in actual travel (they will pay for that)...those who get stuck with all this will be jealous of those who get let go.
Yea I heard about one near me in Atlanta. We all should be looking for another job. They don’t offer pay like other places and ask too much of us all
