The guy who was sent to France to win Airbus business and didn't bring any firm commitment from Airbus but gets promoted to a VP on a position specially created for him, right after laying off a bunch of senior level engineers! SW engineering department headed by a mechanical engineer who never wrote a single line of code in his life and was boasting about completing LinkedIn's Basics of Coding training on LinkedIn! Systems department headed by a guy who brought in a chief systems engineer but never empowered him to implement systems engineering; instead when the chief engineer identified the work (and cost) the PM was hiding in the plan, started blaming him for the additional cost to the program and making every effort to put the new guy on performance improvement plan just to hide his own incompetence! All of these crooks still in place, while kicking out all those who talked sense! Incompetence is alive and kicking!

The main problem is toxic management.
It would take at least 2 generations, for the toxic management to go away.

Get use to it friend. The proper name for it is nepotism and unfortunately runs rampant within the entire General Electric system.
Oooo let's all listen to the "Chief Engineers" as if some chud who never was smart enough to make EB could accomplish anything.
I don't know who Brad is but somebody needs to rid this dismal management system of incompetence and general unsportsmanlike conduct.
