Basically, I’m talking about this company through my personal experience here, which has been influenced the most by my manager - in a bad way. Maybe I would have a different opinion about NetApp if I had a better manager.
Anyway, let’s just say I was very disappointed. I thought the atmosphere here would be a lot different. How much has this place let down your expectations?

I always had amazing managers at NetApp. 7 years, 3 managers, all great, understanding, supportive... But I must say, I was doing my job, and even more sometimes... Maybe that helps! I do have colleagues in sales or pre-sales who don't share my enthusiasm though!
Had several managers over the years, almost all were 7/10. One was a bit annoying due to being new and coming from MS but he was also OK.
I've had the exact opposite experience. Much better than the large networking company I came from.
Your job here is very much what you make of it. Sounds like it's just your manager.
