This is why so many of us are chronically overworked and keep seeing our work pile grow daily while others barely have anything to do. I can't even blame management for this, they recognized an opportunity and they pounced on it. They did their job. We did it to ourselves, basically.

I agree. I've never been LESS busy. Supervision dishes out the work to the diluded who keep on doing.
