A customer pointed out that Belk’s merchandise is “haphazard” and “random” which is a sign they are buying closeout merchandise from god knows where to create the illusion that stores are full.

Dress how you want to be addressed. Obviously, Belk has chosen now to be a Trashy and not Classy Southern Modern Style retail store. Money can sure buy some cheap trashy dress at Belk but not classy dress at its best!
“Dixie Dumpsters Belk” now that is a good new name for Belk company under Sycamore Partners buyout since 2015! Watch our back and each other back at Belk and take out the executive leaders trash!
My flagship Belk store does not have any men dress shirts but empty shelves and no Men Designer Suit any more. Men shoes are coming daily with ugly and low quality products like they are from Walmart or Shoe Carnival outlets. So either Belk is really low on cash and about to close all stores otherwise I do not think they let nice flagship stores start looking like Dixie Trash Dumpsters or Salvation Army Thrift stores! Enough said.
True, we have merchandise come in with no tags, Ross tags, TJ Max tags, and Macy’s.
And most of the home items are available at discount outlets. Just sad to see the quality of merchandise showing up.
