I try to be realistic, there are worse places than IBM, but who cares about worse places. It is fascinating to me how IBM ignores that there are many better places now, incomparably better and that the most talented are not interested in the past glory days. One does not live off of old glory.

I don't think IBM believes they are a great place to work. They know exactly what the current status is. IBM want others - outside the company - to believe it is a great place to work. Big difference IMHO.
Speak for yourself. I get paid way more than I'm worth anywhere else. And for less than half of the work. :|
The only folks not jumping ship are 1) close to retirement and just riding the wave to freedom or 2) couldn’t find a better job. Good luck IBM!!!

Ibm keeps saying they are great place to work to justify doing less for employees every year. No one I know think ibm is great. They Joined ibm because didn’t know better. All looking to jump and many have.
