Layoffs are coming for sure

Seems like the Management here is very good at sudden communications and hitting you when you least expect it with news. Will be quiet for a while just doing your job and staying on top of everything. Then you get a call or have a meeting asking where you stand with certain things like training and then it’s a rush to complete. Really never know so have to be on your toes.
Heard they’re going to sell off hospitality. Morale has been completely miserable since the last round of rifs, and it wasn’t great before.
SaaS yes, they been migrating to that for 10 years. Nuti idea. Anyway hardware so cheap nowadays they don’t want tecs. They pushed depot offer’s to customers. Most liked it.
Just move on before it’s to late.
NCR want to rebrand themselves as software company. Likely see hardware divisions being sold off (if there any left!). More push of NCR edge and deeper ties with financial service offerings.
For NCR I see it as splitting it up, selling off Customer Service and all of Retail. This includes selling off parts system. Greedy ba----ds just want bigger payday.
No idea. Strategic review of what? Product offerings? Org chart? BenComp structures? My company is doing an organizational strategic review at the moment. They do it every year, and take suggestions and advisement from leaders all over the company. These leaders, in turn, have usually reached out to their teams to see if there is any input they would like to share.
Nothing generally comes of it unless it makes a lot of sense. (ie... two different teams have responsibility for parts of this or that process, and perhaps should be combined, or responsibilities shifted. Or... this manager has 60 direct reports and spends 100% of their time either in meetings or doing reviews... and probably could use some managers under him or her. That sort of thing is where these strategic reviews come in handy.)
But yeah, without an idea of what they're reviewing, it's anybody's guess.
