This is just a part time job for me and normally I wouldn't care much, but I really need this job at the moment and that's the only reason I didn't give up on everything. On the other hand, as someone who is paid part time, I don't want to work as if I were paid full time. Is it happening to anyone else, that bbby is squeezing you like a full timer?

Lol. I haven’t seen too many issues thankfully where I work with the FT/PT issue. Instead I see FT’s getting screwed over with either demotions or harsh transfers as “punishment” OR people who were given minimal FT “Supervisor” roles who are now being forced into OPS like positions with no promotion or pay grade increase.
This company does NOT care for you! Anything to squeeze more for less. This is even at the manager level!! Don’t fool yourself. If they can’t even treat mid level management right…what makes you think they will treat PT workers any better?!!? 🙄😑
Not a ridiculous post- hired as part time but pulling in hrs as a full timer. One thing I’ve learned was if I’m getting burn out I just simply let SM or OPS know I had something planned on days I didn’t want to do full time. What sucks is part timers are loosing out on benefits. SM and OPS look at the numbers to see how many days you can do before you are to be considered full time and cut you off at that point so they don’t have to offer benefits
It is the ridiculous poster again!!! You sure do have a lot of issues..how about getting one of the billion jobs out there!
Yep, I deal with that too. I'm PT but work between 37-39 a week. I've been doing this for almost two years now. I get leaned a lot and I guess it's my fault because I let it go on for so long. I work hardside, and I'm the only one working days, and I don't have a dept supervisor. In the evenings it's teenagers who routinely call out sick. They do absolutely nothing and everything falls to me in the mornings. We also have no stock associates to speak of so I handle all of that too for hardside. It's so ridiculous. I'm about to ask for reduced hours and plan on changing my availability. I applied for a part-time position, and I'm at work way too much.
This company seems to be moving in the wrong direction, so I'm looking for something else.
