Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

SA Pooling

Whatever happened to that? Someone convinced them to cancel the plans? Cuz here we are in 2H…or are ya gonna say “two more weeks”/next FY.

Agree. I am an SA at Cisco but used to be a 50% TAM and 50% Post-Sales hands-on at Cisco competitor before. TAMs are the answer

@qlp+1fdUC8AT - I believe TAMs would be a great idea in a number of places....look no further than Arista to see it working. I just done see Cisco doing it...what if it worked

@vum+1fdUC8AT why not have the SEs do both roles? Many companies have TAMs.

With all that is changing to the sales compensation model and the AM churn I don't believe anyone would make that call, even if it was on the table. If this really does ever happen it leaves a huge gap when the AM leaves.....and I've seen a number of AMs leave in the last few months/weeks

It was always fake news, like most things posted here. Cisco management is too chickenshit to make a big change like that. They’ll just keep doing the same broken sh-t all the way down.
