Don't worry. Those agents can sit back and enjoy all the Kool Aid they can drink. Just remember, operations keeps their big mouth promises. What happens in any relationship when promises are broken? Operations has more power than they think. It's the backbone of the business. It's the hardest job in the business. The people in operations need love, respect, and appreciation for what they do. When they don't get it, the company is spineless today and everyday until they appreciate operations. Their money isn't worth anything until they quit treating operations like the Chinese concentration camps.

@1ahw-you have earned one 15 minute trip to the restroom in the morning and afternoon. That is your worth. Would not recommend you take your spouse.

For those of you saying this is convention thats fine Good for the agent's. However if the agents recieve an all expense paid trip to Vegas and private concert great. Whats the value ot that 10k?? per agent. Spend 10k on all the other employees send them and their spouse on a trip also. Agents have no more value than the Janitor. Some companies dont all have agents but they all have Janitor's.

Convention has been a thing forever. Only place where agents all get together and get to feel like part of a bigger picture. They’ve been less frequent in recent years, and this one was out off in order to make it coincide with #100.
One common theme on this site is people who think that only they are picked on, while everyone else is somehow getting more than they should.

It would be bad enough if you were all whining about being treated badly. But it’s even worse reading all the whining about the speculation about rumors about how somebody wants you to think you might get treated.

I sit back after doing claims for over 30 years and watch what is going on now. I sit back shake my head and laugh. The ethics that were then are long gone and I warned them, they will not be able to break the horses they created to get on down the trail. It obvious by the thoughts here. The ethics we once had are in the blue collar work and I can see it ever so slowly moving back in that direction. It will all come out fine. The truckers in Canada are a fine example of old school. The ol' saying: Give them enough rope, they'll hang themself. Because they claim to be educated, does NOT make them intelligent. I've met what they consider neanderthals that are more intelligent than some of what SF has now.

Where does it say your raise has to cover inflation? What about all the years it exceeded inflation. And if you think the entire cost of convention is 20M you are really naive. That is a fraction of the cost….

oh yes it is , in a year where inflation is the highest its been in 30 years

in a year where SF will not give raises that even match inflation let alone a fair raise above that

in a year where SF is understaffed and cannot hire people fast enough because the pay is low and any other company will pay 15% more off the bat

in a year where SF has forced OT with no end in sight

this year they choose to just spend 20 milliion on their elite while the rest of the understaffed overworked force gets what ? a back pack ? and crumbs for a raise...

but hey the thank you video and the back up sure make it easier to afford food and bills at the end of the month.

Believe me operations! You really don't want to go to Vegas because if you did and sat back and just watched you would find out what kind of company you really work for. Men and women sleeping with each others wife, the drinking will blow your mind, and then you have to listen to the big lies they tell as to how moral and ethical the company is. In short, you will never see hypocrisy at such an exponential level. Sad but true. Be smart! Live within your means and navigate around the Wall Street wolf types.
