I thought I’d be laid off sooner than find a new job, but it turned out that getting a better offer was easier than ever. I was surprised at how quickly I got the interview call. Now I just have to endure a few more days here. Is there anyone who's failing to find a new job despite trying for a while?

I am just beginning to search and wonder if the fact that i spent a better part of the past 10 years with this company that other companies I am applying to might think that my salary requirements will be too high. Has me nervous a bit for sure, but its time to leave the oar on the dock and let the others stay to row (one boat one team, gag).
