Are remodeled stores really safe?

Someone posted on another thread a few days ago that the stores that have been remodeled are safe from closing for the time being. My store was remodeled lately to so I ask is this really the case, or are we just finding reasons to think we are more safe in these unsafe times.
Has anybody heard anything official about remodeled stores not being closed?

It “saves” it for a year or two. The company wouldn’t pour all that money in just to close it. But beyond that…anything goes :/

A remodel probably reduces the risk of your store closing, however it doesn’t eliminate it. They would not have made the investment to remodel an unprofitable store. However if anything changes that would effect the profitability of your store it wouldn’t be saved just because it was remodeled.
