Especially not your job. You need to realize that and adjust your expectations accordingly. If I end up losing my job tomorrow for whatever reason I'll get another one. In this economy, that should be easier than ever. The only reason I'm still here is that the pay is good. If it wasn't, I'd already be gone. make sure you're prepared and whatever happens, you'll be fine.

Have you interviewed recently?
After pay freezes every 3-4 years I found much better pay without needing to move.
