I would be lying if I said I didn't care about this job. I love working in retail and it was nice here for a while. What really bothers me is when despite everything I do, despite all my commitment, the manager still doesn’t consider me a trustworthy person. I feel a terrible distrust on his part. It's an insult to me. When I think about it better, what's even worse is that managers here consider trustworthy totally wrong people.

Hurt me with the truth but never comfort me with your lies. There are a lot of liars and thieves at Belk acting and talking as they really care about you. You should know it by now!
Anyone can be store manager at Belk. It takes only the bonehead and incompetent individual to make the overpaid salary $110,000 or more to run the sinking Belk Titanic. Don’t take it personal it is only good business at Belk!

Birds with the same feather flock together don’t you think so? It is like there is honor among thiefs at Belk. If Belk store managers can’t tell the truth, Sale Team Managers will always lie to you, then how an honest associate working at Belk tells the difference?
