Just heard that HyVee isn’t going to expanding down south because of what’s going on with the company. I’m guessing that probably best not too. The rumor is that the CFO and his staff are trying to get Randy not to expand down south because they can’t financially afford to at this time and Randy isn’t happy with them.

Stores down south has been canceled. It’s official.
Just because they were approved to build the stores doesn’t mean they will. They want to build all of these new store down south but they have no way of suppling the stores without a distribution center. Without a distribution center why even build stores down south. These stores will fail fast. HyVee is already over extended so it won’t take long for them to cancel this new idea. How about we focus on what we have and try to make it profitable.
is The new CFO uncovering dirty books from the guy that just went out?
Actually they announced today
They are opening a store in Spring Hill Tennessee …162,000 feet store
Executives were at the city council meeting and the city approved them to build a new store
Andy Schreiner. A legend!
The brand-new CFO going against the grand poobah? Didn't think he had it in him, but if so, maybe there is a glimmer of light.
If this is true they won’t officially announce it…but here in 6 months if anyone asks they’ll just act like you’re stupid and say that they weren’t ever planning on going down South
You mean someone actually said no to Randy? It must have dropped below 32 F in he-l.
