A belk RVP confided they believe belk has less than a year left, and that belk is burning though cash at a rapid pace. the RVP stated that the less you hear from top brass about the state of the finances of the company post bankruptcy, the bigger the indication that belk is back in serious trouble. keep in mind that even after the bankruptcy of last year, Belk’s debt is now nearly $1.9 billion, analysts according to the Charlotte observer say belk is “coasting on fumes” and sycamore partners has drained almost every penny out of this aging, struggling company. Employee morale is at an all time low, now there has been a huge uptick in not only associates leaving but store level managers are jumping ship as well, most admit they want to get out before this titanic crashes.

this actually has become worse than toys r us final days. Belk has sunk to an all time low.
Employee attitude is at all time low… you are just a number and they could care less about their employees… it’s OBVIOUS that the company is in huge trouble with practically giving merchandise away, pretty much allowing theft to have a free for all.. bottom line is that it’s sinking!!
Faster than that as this is the year for Belk closing for good. After June 2022 inventory this summer the liquidation of all stores will proceed as scheduled!
Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. So instead of leaving the sinking ships, all store level managers still stay and hope the future is bright at Belk? What are bunch of pathetic and dishonest ba----ds!
