Toxic managers

I wish there was a way to have corporate see and hear how managers are talking to associates.
Why can't undercover boss come to my location

That’s hilarious. It’s actually the woke pu-e heads who think the unions will make things better. It never happens. Just empty promises, play tge union game and pay the union dies. After the mid-terms, hopefully we’ll get back on the right track.

Now you know the reason that Amazon, Starbucks and others are going Union.

Here’s what I’ve learned after many years- toxic employees usually breed toxic managers. Many that work at the stores are literally at the bottom of the labor pool and a great percentage is there simply because they have no other options. They bring their baggage and bad attitude with them.

This is hilarious. As I read all this, I’ve made the decision to take my middle school child to the local Walmart just to let her watch the associates there. To let her see how they dress and act. To let her see what her future holds if she doesn’t stay in school, get her high school diploma, stay out of trouble with the police, and don’t get pregnant.

What most of you don't realize is that THEY DO KNOW HOW YOU ARE BEING TREATED!

It's the corporate way. This is the reason why you don't see execs in the stores anymore.

If you do have an exec coming the dog and pony show starts and you will get help from every store in the market to make believe the store standards are always a 100%

The WALMART way. Everyone's expendable.

The buddy system is indeed the way for some markets - Younger, less experienced ppl who are failing in their roles are promoted up the chain because of youth and they are buddies with the SM and or MM.

Toxic place; WMT Home Office doesn't care. They promote on the buddy system and let it ride. 20 years former manager.

Walmart is an AWFUL company. Get out. I was there almost 10 years and finally had enough. Found a better paying job. Paid holidays and weekends off and generous PTO policy. Walmart will never change. They do not value their employees. Get out and find an employer who will.

Our store manager does the same thing The last snow storm we got he said “I’m going to point all these fu----s for calling out”

Glad we are treated like fu----s. Then he leaves early for baseball games on Saturday when the store is in shambles. He consistently lies to the market manager during visits to make himself look good. Wish the market teams and regionals would do unannounced visits.

The morale in the store is at an all time low and definitely not the Walmart culture it was years ago.
