Multi tasking

It seems now that WFM has many of us multi tasking, doing multiple jobs and then they have the nerve to walk up to me and say I had overtime. When technically they should be paying for 2 different positions, but are having trouble hiring. What a F ing nerve. I know I need to leave. Is this happening in every region or store or is it just in the NA.

They will manipulate you and contradict themselves all day. This is the most hypocritical place I've ever seen. So don't give them anything. Don't try and explain yourself to these people. I had to learn this the hard way. Like the ole saying " You are casting pearls before swine."

I know of tms that love getting tons of overtime. Not me. Its not worth it. I care more about my heath than what
my lazy tl wants.

All pandemic I was the TM who worked six days a week, 10 hour shifts, worked every day for a month. I really didn't mind, I volunteered. One day when I had plans after work my STL got super mad at me for not staying after 10:30pm He asked me at 10:25, (i was literally at the time clock punching out) to work non-business essential load that could easily have been worked the following morning. I let him know that I have worked so much overtime, six days a week for a year, worked every overnight shift when we had call outs (which was constantly) His response was "I haven't seen you do any of that lately." and you know what? I never did again. After two weeks he allowed us to hire 6 TMs. Do not do extra work. The OT pay is not worth it and you will not be appreciated for it, only dumped on.

Clock in on time, take all your breaks and clock out on time. If they ask you to stay late say no. If every one did this literally nothing would get done. STL's would be held accountable for poor performance and Whole Foods would have to do something to entice quality employees to apply like raise the starting pay or increase our benefits. The problem is there is always those TM's that are willing to work 2 or 3 peoples jobs because they think it will help them in the future. It doesn't.

Why wouldn't they use and abuse you? Of course it will happen everywhere profits are the only thing that matter your happiness means nothing to them. They are doing nothing to maintain or bring in new people because the money continues to roll in regardless with the foolish people taking on extra work. At this point just do enough to not get fired.
