We are posting new jobs every week. 2 years ago oil was at $30/bbl. Did we not learn anything from the last 10 layoffs?! Why don’t we hire back all of those we kicked to the curb?

I think it’s upper management too.
They sit in the private area and have no clue what’s happening in the company really.
Denbury’s problem is in the middle managment tier.
We won’t survive tomorrow if today we don't get rid of most of those who’ve been in their positions for close to a decade with no innovation or evolution.
The guys at the very top have a clear vision that has taken us to 70+ a share, and the guys in the field are ready and eager to do the work.
You middle tier mangers, you’re the problem. You’re holding us back.
We are arrogant to think we are still a great place to work. Salary is average or even below and benefits are average.
You aren’t going to have excellent people wanting to come to work at Denbury if we are average or below.
Getting any sort of talented workers seems to be a huge problem. Might as well start looking as soon as possible. Work force is full of sub par workers
Most of the ones from the bankruptcy layoff are still looking.
At the town hall it was pretty clear there will be no raises.
Those people were kicked to the curb for reasons, I think that’s how they get out people they don’t like.
