Either Merge or Get off of the Pot

It doesn't really matter to me.

Bailed last summer when it became apparent (via the grapevine) that things were gonna get ugly. They made it increasingly difficult, damn near impossible, for our group to function like we used to. But the best clue was when a bunch of folks who used to work for Optum/UHG were the first ones to bolt for the door. Never had an exit interview, nor any interaction with anyone "higher up" in the organization other than my immediate supervisor, who also left. Even had to pay to ship my laptop back to the mother ship. Our whole (high performance) team left very quickly. Sad, because we had a real culture, an agenda, and support at all levels when we were still with MHS. We were told CHNG would be a toxic change, and they didn't disappoint. So it goes.

Which BU is facing the largest attrition risk?

It’s time to jump ship, is there even a retention program in place for all the additional attrition they are about to see? 4 people announced they are leaving in my dept just this week alone!

It is time to move on. The fact that NdC was able to keep a straight face, and sound so falsely caring about employees, in the video announcing the extension is sickening, disheartening and crushes what shred of credibility he had left.

See ya, wouldn't want to be ya....and I NOW hope this deal crashes....just for little more than payback to the overt greed of the ELT.

But enough is enough....2+ years of excuses/info requests, etc, DOJ, excessive exec. comp....what incentive does one have to hang on? NOT ONE!

It's sad that these two companies keep on dragging this out. Give it up. This merger is not a "good thing" for anyone except those benefiting financially and we all know who that usually is. Just because the the guys running these two companies think the merger is a good idea doesn't mean it is! It's ridiculous to keep putting employees through this "drama".
The work environment at CHC is toxic. They didn't anticipate the amount of people who left when they announced layoffs before the holiday. It seems they really thought people would stick around waiting for a sevrence package. That didn't happen. It's time to go!

This keeps dragging on. I hope they don't extend it.
