Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Corporate

Corporate employees sat at home for the last 2 years to “stay safe” while the store employees worked with the infected public servicing selling and fulfilling online orders. Now they are back so let’s start pressuring the store employees to make conversion and not going over hours and oh yes get those emails on the 1 register that is open. Oh and don’t forget about your hours. How do they justify yelling at someone for working the hours they were scheduled? Cuts need to happen at the top management and corporate.

The stores pay everyone's wages. (especially those HUGE ones in Corporate) you would think they would treat us better and provide us with what we need to succeed. Decent wages, equipment that works, (scanners, printers, computers, registers) and hours to do all these programs they have put in place. CDS, BOPIS, CURBSIDE, on top of our regular duties, snap backs, beyond store orders, freight, cashing out customers, replenishment, back stocking and actually helping customers. We are running on 420 hrs. 40K sq ft store. one person on the floor during "power Hours" and one at Customer service. Why are customers leaving because? 1) we don't have core products anymore 2) no one to help them find what they can't find (even if we do have it) because 90% of the time it is still in the stockroom. And all those standards pictures. That are taken first thing in the morning after they have straighten it all out to make the picture look good. Trust me it doesn't look like that!!! And when we have a visits. SM blows his entire payroll budget to make look good for the RM & DM for that one day and we actually have staff in the building. I have worked here for a very long time. (over 15 years) I have been through a lot of changes. But this is so bad and so very Sad for company that was a great company to work for.

Another complainer. All those tasks are part of your job. If you don’t like it find another job. They are actually easy to do for anyone with half a brain.
