Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

US senate commerce committee

So much for being in the new inviting Gina Raimondo, etc… looks like TC barey made any impact on them. They all dissed him and din not invite him for testimony https://www.reuters.com/technology/intel-micron-ceos-make-case-us-semiconductor-subsides-testimony-2022-03-22/

At the end when this gets approved GF is probably going to get any Pennie’s it’s going to be all these bigwigs who will get it for their investment in Ohio, Arizona, etc. they will probably throw some change here and there even though they are a trusted foundry. All these interviews have no substance it’s like a stuck record and I think TC does it purely because he likes to be in the limelight.

Because the company only paid for the promotion package (to the broader audience). Access to political bodies is extra

I think TC thinks he is doing the right thing trying to hook himself with different networks but honestly it just reflects that he is more interested in the limelight the messaging is not going in the right direction. With the amount of money that intel has spent I am sure intel will get the major chunk. The trouble is that mubadala has already made their money by investing in Amd going IPO and everything else and now they just don’t care. All they now care is getting free cash and have all of us believe that we are important but they really do not care about the employees at all. Even TC sis just looking at his retirement which should soon be round the corner in 5 or so years.
