Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Is there a layoff under the radar?

I have been receiving quite a few connection requests on LinkedIn lately from engineers I don't know at Qualcomm with the open to work picture on their profile. Is there a major layoff going on?
I used to work at Qualcomm SD site and left three years ago due to toxic politics and smelly and stinky culture figuratively and literally.

Qualcomm folks, please don't go around and bug other people on social media, no one wants to deal with your stench.

You do realize they opened their largest site in India. Google it.

It's now a center of mass equation vs a dead weight equation.

How long does it take you to solve the equation determines how long you stay.

The shocking part is when you find out you’re the dead weight!

Wouldn’t shock me as it’s been four years since the last one.

Not a bad idea to get rid of dead weight.

Qualcomm’s business model will always entail looking for cheaper Orange 🍊 pickers!

The great resignation is in full swing. No need for layoffs when organic attrition is so high.

Don't worry and focus on your tasks. There are plenty of jobs around San Diego county.
