Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Purpose

This is a board to discuss layoffs and layoffs only. People come here for that specific reason. Every company has the need from time to time to perform layoffs and it is perfectly normal. BBBY is a very stable company, with outstanding leadership and will be around for a very very long time. All the complainers, whiners, racists, bigots, armchair CEOs and conservatives need to leave this board, there is no place for you here.

ALL comments must be layifff related only!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As an RTV person, I can tell you My Pillow was a horrible product. We had returns through the roof.

Someone who can’t spell losing correctly sure has a lot to say. What a loser, or should I say looser?

Haha very stable company you say!!
Check again- tell us why stores are loosing money- tell us why there are no hours- tell us why the store was told to cut back major hours for the next couple of weeks- tell us why shareholders are unhappy- tell us why……… we are waiting Please tell us
Good luck convincing yourself that BBB is a stable company that has been loosing money for the past 5 years
Good luck telling everyone that this website is only for Layoffs

Ryan Cohen (the outside investor) said the leadership had outsized financial compensation for its upper leadership and did not match company performance. Trying to do too many things at once. This is from an article from CNN Business. As someone that worked for the company for almost 17 years, I give them a 50-50 chance of surviving the next 3-5 years. I hope they do survive but could become a casualty like so many other retailers.

The mods do a pretty good job without the peanut gallery telling them.
Views pay the bills.

Who is this clown?? Apparently not very bright and clearly does not read the news. We are done. Successful companies do not close hundreds of stores or have multiple activists trying to change the business model. Successful companies do not lose millions of dollars every year. Pay attention. Clown. Maybe you will learn something
