120% bonus payout = winning
3% raise vs 7% inflation = losing (exception for the few folks that got the Nov/Dec raise, your probably around 7%)
Q1 over 100% QBP payout = winning
Getting ‘dressed down’ in large meetings by the plant GM = losing with a bonus of emotional damage and a side of reduced motivation
Free cup cakes = winning
Attrition of only the good people = losing (but I am happy for advancing their careers)
Very few promo’s = we are on the ground, why are you kicking me?
Intel giving 15% raises & Samsung giving 100% of your salary as a retention bonus = sounds like fake news, but has been confirmed
Overall, it feels like losing, with moody AF execs, with a side of emotional damage.
For those who think execs will leave after they cash out their stock, they won’t. They are not interested in money, they want power, hence why they want you back in the office full time. So they feel powerful, and you, in the perfect position to be ‘dressed down’.
